Dr. Eduardo Andere is an educational analyst and writer on topics of public policy, education policy and comparative education. He is visiting researcher professor at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. He is also guest researcher at the Centro Regional de Formación de Maestros e Investigación Educativa [Regional Center for Teacher Training and Education Research, Mexico].
He holds a PhD in Political Science from Boston College” (1992), and Master’s degrees in Economics and Public Administration from Boston University and Harvard University, respectively. He earned his law degree from “Universidad Iberoamericana” (Mexico City). His Law Degree thesis was awarded the First Prize in Economics by Banamex (today CITIGroup).
He is the author of nine books about education, education policy and comparative education.He is also author of several papers in national and international journals; he is a member of the Mexico’s National System of Researchers, and an international evaluator for the "European Journal of Teacher Education". He is an op-ed columnist at educacionfutura.org, and contributes with op-ed columns to the national newspaper Reforma.
