Joy of Learning gala evening at the Finlandia hall

The theme of the gala evening is the meaning of joy of learning to individuals as well as the society on the whole. Finland has received abundant international fame from the excellent learning results of children and young people. Finland is also building its future on strong learning. The Joy of Learning gala evening aims to gather together all those who have been building and continue to build our society to a kind where everyone has the chance to learn and study. During the evening, learning will be looked at from various viewpoints and together we’ll glance into the future where learning creates strength. The evening will also function as a celebration of Vice-Rector, Professor Hannele Niemi’s birthday.
The gala evening is a dinner event and there will be short speeches on joy of learning from different perspectives.

Bishop Eero Huovinen, Diocese of Helsinki
Member of the Board Sinikka Salo, Bank of Finland
The programme of the evening will include music from LOUHI orchestra and dancing to finish off the evening. Dark suit or evening dress.
